Downtown on the Farm started in 2017 as a fundraiser for Locally Owned Murfreesboro, a group dedicated to building community for small businesses in our area. It is a farm-to-table fundraising dinner held in September featuring items sourced from local farms that are transformed into a culinary adventure by local chefs. For 6 years, money raised at the event has been used to fund annual scholarships for students from Rutherford County in the Entrepreneurship Program within the Jones College of Business at MTSU.
Locally Owned Murfreesboro, the organization, may have gone away, but former President, Missy Lay, decided to continue the program to foster new entrepreneurs and their dreams of attending college. Now, Wild Goose Chase Events is excited to continue the program and honor the spirit that started it

Tickets are valued at $85 each and include dinner, 2 tickets for a signature cocktail or local beer and commemorative, handmade cocktail tumbler made by a local potter.
